Interface - Net Effect

To launch Interface’s Net Effect™ carpet tiles—made with fibers from reclaimed ocean fishing nets—we brought the problem to shore. For one day, Chicago’s Oak Street Beach was transformed into a physical reminder of ocean plastic pollution, as part of a filmed brand stunt that became central to the campaign.

The activation was later featured in Interface’s showroom launch, where guests could see and touch the finished product—a beautiful flooring solution born from waste. It became a powerful way to show how smart design can do well while doing good.
